South African Tourism took tour operators in Ghana Embark On A Special Training


South Africa Tourism on Wednesday 31st October 2018 at Marriot Hotel to take tour operators in Ghana on a special training to enable increasing tourism in the country also be easy, exciting and cheap to tour South Africa without stress.

At the ceremony, Mohammed Tanko Kwajaffa, Trade Relations Manager, West Africa, took tour operators and travel agencies on the to make use of the platforms available such as TV, Radio, Newspapers, Magazine, Billboards, social media to promote their packages for clients ready to visit SouthAfrica.

Mr. Mohammed also projected some of the interesting activities in different cities in South Africa and a bit history of some of the tourist sites for the agencies to know how convinced people to visit there.

He explained the need to sell and experience South Africa with its History & Culture, Wildlife, Nightlife, Family Activities, Life Style, Adventure, Tourist Attraction sites and more.

He took participants through various lessons including packaging tours, application of visas etc and shared information on the most visited places in South Africa including Gauteng (Johannesburg & surroundings), Kwa Zulu Natal (Durban and surroundings) and regular activities these regions are noted for. (

For his part, President of Tour Operation Union Of Ghana Mr. Kwesi Eyison laud South African Tourism for putting up such great initiative to inform and educate tour operators and travel agencies in Ghana.

11 Graduates were presented with a branded certificate as three Ghanaian won an all paid expense trip courtesy South African Tourism.
